Beschreibung
Fohlen besitzen in den ersten Wochen ein sogenanntes Fohlenfell, das
besonders flauschig ist. Der erste Fellwechsel ist immer sehr aufregend,
weil die Farbe heller oder dunkler werden kann. Sie kann sich auch im
Laufe der Zeit noch verändern. Es gibt 17 anerkannte Fellfarben,
darunter auch so ausgefallene wie Mausfalbe, Cremello und Perlino.
Wissenswertes Quarter Horses sind meistens Rotfüchse und Braune.
