Beschreibung
Paul Vitti, der große Mafia-Boss, sitzt hinter Schloss und Riegel. Doch in "Sing-Sing" frönt er hauptsächlich dem "Singsang". Dabei schmettert er Songs aus der "West Side Story" so ohrenbetäubend, dass man ihn sich eher im Irrenhaus als im Knast vorstellen kann. Grund genug, ihn wieder in die Obhut seines Seelenklempners Ben Sobel zu entlassen - und das Chaos nimmt seinen Lauf.
Diese zwei sind nicht zu bremsen. Robert De Niro (Vittit) und Billy Crystal (Sobel) begeistern einmal mehr in ihren Rollen als durchgeknallter Mafioso und überforderter Psychologe. - unterstützt von Lisa Kudrow und Joe Viterelli. Filmemacher Harold Ramis zündet ein Feuerwerk der guten Laune, wenn Vitti versucht, in einem normalen Leben Fuß zu fassen. Vor allem dann, wenn alte Kollegen seinen Weg kreuzen. Nicht nur für den ambitionierten Sobel "Reine Nervensache". Auch die Zuschauer sollten starke "Lachnerven" beweisen!
