Beschreibung
In Dead Synchronicity übernimmt der Spieler die Figur des Michael, einem Mann ohne Vergangenheit, der seine Identität wieder erlangen und die zwei Ereignisse entschlüsseln muss, die die Welt an den Rand des Untergangs gebracht haben: Die sogenannte Große Welle, eine unerklärliche Kette von Naturkatastrophen, sowie eine Pandemie, die Menschen in "Aufgelöste" verwandelt - Wesen, deren Körper sich schlussendlich in Blut auflösen. Bevor sie jedoch einen grausamen Tod sterben, gewinnen die Aufgelösten besondere geistige Fähigkeiten. Wenn Michael sich nicht beeilt, wird er den drohenden Moment der "dead synchronicity" nicht aufhalten können - der Moment, in dem die Zeit sich selbst aufzulösen beginnt.
Als Hommage an düstere Adventure-Titel wie "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" und "Sanitarium" illustriert Dead Synchronicity - unter Verwendung einer handgezeichneten 2D-Grafik - ein ausgereiftes dystopisches Sci-Fi Szenario mit Elementen des klassischen Point & Click-Gameplays.
