Beschreibung
Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers kombiniert reale Settings des Zweiten Weltkrieges mit einer fiktiven Story, die den Spieler durch die Arcade-Flight-Action manövriert. Ausgangspunkt für sämtliche Flug-Missionen der Kampagnen ist ein im Pazifik stationierter Flugzeugträger, den der Spieler als Kapitän unter seinem Kommando hat. Ob er unter der Flagge der US Navy oder der Kaiserlich Japanischen Marine in die Schlacht zieht, entscheidet der Spieler zu Beginn. Auch in Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers werden die Schlachten in der Luft geschlagen, z.B. Pearl Harbor, Midway oder Wake Island. Anstatt einzelne Flugzeuge kann der Spieler diesmal ganze Schwadronen steuern und während der Mission zwischen ihnen hin- und herschalten. Verschiedene Single- und Multiplayer-Modi sorgen für langanhaltenden Spielspaß.
